Work in Progress: Mural at NCCW

We are making progress! The mural at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW) is being brought to life by community artists Sheila Hubbard and Annie Jacobson Redfern, alongside the York Creative District with the goal of the art to depict the growth and highlight the diverse programs offered at NCCW.

It's truly moving to hear that the women of NCCW have indicated they see themselves in the faces being painted–a powerful testament to the impact and connection this project is creating. A huge thank you once again to all the dedicated volunteers and artists who are making this beautifully meaningful project possible!
