To our wonderful community partners: Today is all about YOU! And we can’t thank you enough for the countless hours you have volunteered. Many community partners across Nebraska have given their time to the incarcerated men and women at all nine NDCS facilities.

Today we shared a moment of thanks with many of our community partners and announced four award winners during our virtual volunteer appreciation ceremony.

These hours of dedication help individuals successfully complete non-clinical programming, education, and vocational and life skills courses that make a positive impact on their lives during incarceration and reentry. #SecondChanceMonth and #NationalVolunteerMonth
