The Prison Fellowship Academy (PFA) hosted its second 5K and community service event at TSCI, led by the PFA Pathways group. 🏃🏃♂️👟
Participation grew from 23 to 62 runners, along with community partners and four paws. 🐾
More important than the race itself is the charitable mission behind it. Residents of TSCI, along with visitors and staff, spent months collecting aluminum pop-tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Omaha, ultimately gathering nearly 80 pounds of tabs to support families whose children are receiving medical care. These donations reflect a sincere desire by those inside the facility to give back to the community and make a meaningful difference.
