Yesterday, leaders from across Nebraska gathered at Southeast Community College for a meeting of the TRANSFORM Nebraska Network. This network is a statewide initiative that brings together employers, state agencies, community organizations, faith groups, and other partners who share a commitment to second chances and successful reentry.
The group spent time exploring career pathways in manufacturing, identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration, and hearing directly from four individuals who were previously incarcerated and are now thriving in their communities. Their stories were honest and powerful, highlighting what helped them succeed and the barriers that still need attention.
This is exactly the kind of group that can take those insights and turn them into meaningful action, and we’re grateful for their continued commitment to supporting Nebraska’s returning residents. #TRANSFORMNebraska
