Teammate Spotlight

When Margina Denbo joined NDCS, she was looking for a place where she could grow and build a career while working with people. Five years later, she has found a place to stay.

“I came here because I wanted to take my degree and use it somehow,” she said. “I’ve definitely stayed because I like working with people and I like helping people.”

A unit caseworker at the Work Ethic Camp (WEC), Margina frequently facilitates programming for the population. She notes that it’s a rewarding experience to see individuals whose lives have been positively changed through programming and the difference it has made in their successful reentry.

Margina enjoys seeing the growth individuals have during their time at WEC, especially developing job and time management skills to support their reentry.

Thank you, Margina, for the work you do every day to make a difference!
