This morning’s Community Partner Appreciation Event — held at Metropolitan Community College — highlighted the incredible individuals and organizations who choose to step inside NDCS facilities and bring hope, opportunity, and support.

These partners volunteer their time, share their expertise, and believe in the potential of every person they meet. Reentry and rehabilitation truly takes the entire community, and these partners embody what a commitment to #TRANSFORMNebraska looks like in action.

We were honored to recognize three volunteers for their significant impact:

  • Community Partner of the Year: Suzanne King, Alternatives to Violence Project
  • Educational Partner of the Year: Dr. Tommy Moore, Southeast Community College
  • Faith-Based Partner of the Year: Dr Mark Goodman, Native American Services

NDCS is grateful for every community partner who walks alongside us in this mission. Your work changes lives.
