Peru State College - Corrections Leadership Scholarship Program

The Peru State College - Corrections Leadership Scholarship Program with NDCS is shaping the next generation of correctional leaders. Paired with high-quality academic learning, this program offers real-world experience for officer interns at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI).

We’re proud to share these updates about the program: 

• 13 students recently completed the NDCS pre‑service training
• An additional 28 students are currently working at TSCI
• In total 16 students have graduated from Peru
• And 6 Students have continued careers in corrections with roles such as sergeant, intelligence corporal, reentry specialist, corporal, and caseworker
