The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Title 71, Chapter 2 of the Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC) and the proposed adoption of Title 71, Chapter 2 into the NAC. Title 71 Chapter 2 are proposed rules establishing procedures for the administration and supervision of the PATH Program (Program for At-Home Transition Housing), which will be operational under the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS). This is a new program under NDCS. The proposed rules impact inmates transitioning toward release with opportunities for community-based supervision while in a residential setting.
Authority for these regulations is found in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 83-4,111, Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-907 and Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-912.01.
All interested persons are invited to attend and make oral or written comments at the hearing.
