The annual Nebraska Strongman competition, hosted this year at Towers’ Frontier Harley-Davidson in Lincoln, selected the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation as the recipient of its 2025 event proceeds, which raised $700 in support of their mission.
The check presentation was made by Dillon Gartner, recreation specialist at the Reception and Treatment Center, and a three-time “Nebraska’s Strongest Man” competitor.
The competition featured dozens of athletes from across the state, showcasing impressive feats of strength, endurance, and determination. The atmosphere was electric, with great food, raffle prizes, cheering crowds, and meaningful connections between competitors and the corrections community. Events like this not only raise funds—they raise awareness, build relationships, and highlight the incredible strength found within our corrections community.
