Here at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) we all have a responsibility to keep people safe. This includes the public and the people who live in, work at, and visit one of our facilities.
The work of NDCS is identified by four separate, but overlapping, categories: People, Programs, Policies, and Physical Plant. Through developing #OurPeople, following sound correctional #Policies, and investing in our #PhysicalPlants, we provide #Program opportunities for our population to change thinking and behavior and develop the tools and skills to successfully reenter their communities.
