Security supervisors from the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services participated in a security audit of the Douglas County Department of Corrections (DCDC). A security audit is conducted to determine compliance with correctional best practices to maximize safety of the community, the incarcerated population, and team members.

The audit team utilized the National Institute of Corrections audit system which has been adopted by NDCS to assess security within our own facilities. We would like to thank DCDC for the continued partnership and commitment to keep people safe. #Policies
