NCYF: Youth Leadership Omaha

Youth Leadership Omaha (YLO) is a program for high school sophomores aimed at developing future community leaders through essential skills training. Hosted by Creighton’s Heider College of Business, YLO includes seminars on themes like justice, health services, and community impact.

Participants recently toured the Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility (NCYF) to gain insights into the justice system and hear firsthand experiences from peers. This exposure helps students understand real-world challenges and motivates them to become proactive leaders.
