Inmate missing from community corrections facility
August 14, 2025 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L). Alexander Gouge #213689 did not return to the facility from a job seek furlough today. His electronic monitor was found near 31st and Q Street in Lincoln.
Gouge started his sentence on August 31, 2021. He was sentenced to 10 to 15 years out of Lancaster County for refusing to submit to a test/5th offense. He has a parole hearing scheduled in September 2025 and a tentative release date of February 11, 2028.
Gouge is a 38-year-old male, 5’ 8”, 185 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
CCC-L is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
