Inmate missing from community corrections facility
July 9, 2025 (Omaha, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O). Randy Johnson #214161 left the facility yesterday, and his electronic monitoring device was found near CCC-O.
Johnson started his sentence on November 17, 2021. He was sentenced to nine to 13 years out of Douglas County for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a deadly weapon by a felon. He has a parole hearing scheduled in September 2025 and a tentative release date of September 19, 2027.
Johnson is a 40-year-old Black male, 5’ 8”, 165 lbs. with brown eyes. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
CCC-O is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
