During Corrections Appreciation Week, we’re proud to recognize three members of the NDCS Honor Guard for their dedication and years of service. Two team members received 10‑year awards, and one received a 5‑year award for their commitment to representing this profession with honor.
The NDCS Honor Guard plays a meaningful role in recognizing the professionalism of corrections and the sacrifices made by our teammates. The unit may be activated to serve as pallbearers or as an honor unit at funerals and memorial services for active or retired NDCS team members. They also represent the agency at facility dedications, groundbreakings, retirements, parades, conferences, and other events.
Their presence reflects respect, tradition, and the deep sense of duty that defines this profession.
