Leaders from multiple NDCS facilities met with the American Correctional Association’s (ACA) Commission on Accreditation to review last year’s audits and receive their re-accreditation.
ACA accreditation means that a facility meets rigorous standards in safety, security, programming, health services and overall operations. It also reflects one of our key strategic priorities: keeping our policies strong, consistent, and aligned with national best practices.
Most of all, it’s a testament to the outstanding work of our NDCS team members and their commitment our mission to #KeepPeopleSafe.
