Thinking for a Change (T4C)

Thinking for a Change (T4C)

Being a program facilitator is an opportunity to truly make a lasting impact on the lives of others.

This spring, individuals at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW) and the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) walked through Thinking for a Change (T4C) facilitator training alongside NDCS teammates. This collaborative training was hosted at TSCI, with NCCW facilitators participating virtually.

It’s part of an ongoing initiative to train peers and staff to facilitate this program alongside one another within NDCS facilities. As NCCW’s first peer group to complete the training, this cohort is looking forward to enhancing learning for program participants through their lived experience.

Created by the National Institute of Corrections, T4C is a high-level cognitive behavioral program that utilizes role playing to address attitudes, behavior, family, friends and criminogenic thinking.

A big thank you to the teammates and peers who have made the decision to be part of this life-changing work! #BuildYourFuture
