Spring may be right around the corner, but teammates at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP) are celebrating the last days of winter with a soup and chili contest. There was a great variety to choose from like chili, Hungarian mushroom soup, and lentil curry soup. NSP teammates were invited to vote on their favorites — with a good ol’ taste test. 

The top choice was Michelle Decker’s taco soup, followed by Jennifer Hood’s broccoli and cheddar soup as the runner up. Allyson Bennett scored the third choice with her chicken chili.
