Summer is often thought of as a time for rest and relaxation, but at the Community Corrections Center - Omaha (CCC-O), grounds staff and incarcerated individuals have been working hard to create a bountiful crop in their homegrown garden.

Of his experience working in the garden, one of the crew members said, "I loved taking something from a seed, giving it a new beginning, and then helping it grow into something great. It provided a lot of self reflection about the changes I am making in my life."
