It’s #CorrectionsMonth and today we’re shining a spotlight on some of our outstanding NDCS teammates. Both of these teammates make an important contribution to the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW). 

Corporal (Cpl.) Jones is inclusive and solution focused in her work. Her teammates and the NCCW population alike notice the care she shows to each person and the positive attitude she brings to each shift. Cpl. Jones was named the NCCW Employee of the Quarter. 

Lieutenant (Lt.) Onofrei’s teammates describe him as an exceptional role model who holds his team to a high standard and pushes them to reach the potential he sees in them. He has a positive attitude that spreads to those around him. Lt. Onofrei leads by example and ensures the safety and security of the facility is the priority. He was named the Supervisor of the Quarter at NCCW.
